Shared note

The marriage of William and Edna took place on 28 September 1905 at Brighton, Livingston County, Michigan. The ceremony performed by Rev. William Walker Gray and witnessed by Edgar Crout and Shirley E. Placeway. Evidently, the marriage didn't last long, as the Federal Census records of 1910 show William living in Detroit and his wife, Edna (called Bessie in the 1910 census) living in the household of her parents. William was employed as a reporter for a daily newspaper in Detroit.
