Book # 2, Page 315. Originally he had been named Merril Charles Placeway, but in the record the
name Merril was crossed out and the name William written above it.
02.) The 1910 Federal Census of Brighton Township, Livingston County, Michigan, ED # 97, page 132-A,
line 47, Family # 14 taken 16 April 1910: Bessie Placeway age 22 and her son, Merrill, age 3, were
living in the household of her father, Charles E. Durfee. His father was living in the household of
Birnie G. Chapper, in Detroit, Michigan.
