Chester Frederick Sartwell worked as a farmer in Michigan most of his life. In his later years he removed to the outskirts of Washington, DC, living in Tacoma Park, Maryland near his eldest son, James. In Tacoma Park, Chester worked as a butcher. He had divorced from his wife Alta about 1949. He remarried to Marie (?) in Maryland. Marie died about 1985 and Chester died 28 Dec 1984 at Tacoma Park. His body was flown back to Howell, Michigan, and buried in the Lake View Cemetery. Sources; 01.) Birth found in vital records of Livingston Co., MI. 02.) His biggest pleasure was listening to baseball games. |
